Children of God Sunday Club (COGS)

COGS is the Vales sunday school for children ages 3-14 and meets during most Sunday services.  They don't meet during a parade service, which is the 4th Sunday in a month.  The children start in the main service and move to the church hall after about 15 minutes.  COGS meetings start with a prayer and a game before the children break up into age groups and learn something about the bible.  Any child attending the Sunday service can attend if they want to.   For more information please ring 01257 255277.

Mums & Tots

An informal gathering for parents (including dads), carers, babies and toddlers, for a brew and a chat while the children play.  A range of toys are available.  Times are 2:00 - 3:15 on Monday afternoons.  For more information please ring 01257 253881.

Boys Brigade

For boys aged 5-18 meeting Thursday nights 6.45-7.45pm for the 5-11year olds and 8-9.15pm for the over 11 year olds.  Various outdoor weekend excursions including Duke of Edinburgh award.  For more information please ring 01257 427064.

Craft class

Various craft activities in a social setting, meets at 2pm Tuesdays, September-April.  For more information please ring 01257 254054.

Bowling club

The club uses the public green at Whitehall Park (off Miles Lane).  Players will have to pay a annual membership fee to Shevington parish council for use of the green (£14 in 2008).  Meets at 2pm Thursdays, April-October.  In winter months there are indoor bowls in the Church sports hall, same time.  For more information please ring 01257 253415.
